Let’s Wait for the Coming of the New iPhone on October 4th

In recent months, all kinds of rumors about the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S were in flood. Everyone is guessing when the new iPhone would come out. Finally Apple tells us the release date is October 4th today.

Today Apple issued media invitations for a special iPhone event to be held next Tuesday, October 4th at the company’s Town Hall auditorium at its headquarters in Cupertino, California. The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM Pacific Time.

The invitations for the event carry the tagline “Let’s talk iPhone” and depict iOS icons for Calendar, Clock, Maps, and Phone.

JP Morgan Expects iPhone 5 & iPhone 4-Plus in October

Now nearly all resources point that Apple will unveil the next iPhone a few weeks later. Yesterday, J.P. Morgan analyst Mark Moskowitz said that Apple might show us two new iPhone models.

The article, posted on Fortune, said that Apple is poised to release two new iPhone models, a slimmer model Apple will call the iPhone 5 and an improved version of the iPhone 4 called iPhone 4-plus. The analyst expects the iPhone 5 to be a “world phone” device with GSM and CDMA support, while the iPhone 4-plus will target the midrange of the market, as well as China.

Rumor: iOS 5 on October 10th and iPhone 5 on October 15th?

According to the report of AppleInsider, which quotes a person familiar with Apple’s AppleCare customer service call centers, Apple call center is expecting a large influx of iOS-related support calls beginning Monday, October 10th

Obviously this indicates that Apple will release iOS 5 to current users on that day.

That person told AppleInsider that his local AppleCare call center expects an eightfold increase in customer calls on that day, and that staff are being advised ahead of time for the increased traffic.

According to another report of BGR, Apple is planning to release the beta 8 of iOS 5 to developers on September 16th. After a week, a golden master version is believed to be released “on or around” September 23rd. And the golden master version is very likely to be loaded onto the already-assembled iPhone 5 hardware currently waiting for final software in China.

France Telecom CEO Stéphane Richard has reportedly claimed that the iPhone 5 appears set to debut on October 15th. As the top executive of a major iPhone partner Richard would be more likely to have accurate information than most. So you should get ready for the coming of iPhone 5 and iOS 5.

Apple iPad 3 Will Have a Thinner, Lighter Battery

According to the, Simplo Technology and Dynapack International Technology have been awarded contracts to produce the battery for the Apple iPad 3.

The new battery will be thinner and lighter–which either open the door for a thinner design or make room for a potentially thicker high-resolution Retina display.

Rumor: Best Buy Launches iPhone 5 in October

According to the news of This is my next, a Best Buy location that’s been scheduled to have a mysterious “Apple fixture” installed on Friday, October 21st. And managers is requested to be on-hand at 6AM is out of the ordinary (they usually show up at 7AM for inventory) on that day. And that a similar arrangement was scheduled for the iPhone 4 launch.

Sprint Keeps Quiet About the iPhone 5

According to the Spring Feed, Sprint has sent a memo to all the employees to tell them how to deal with the question about the iPhone 5. Obviously they had been asked a lot about if they will carry the iPhone, or when the iPhone 5 will be released.

We have reported that Sprint will introduce the iPhone 5 together with AT&T, Verizon and even T-Mobile. This news comes from The Wall Street Journal. But so far, neither Sprint nor Apple have confirmed or denied this.

An iPhone 5 Prototype Was Lost in a Bar
