Sprint Keeps Quiet About the iPhone 5

September 2nd, 2011 Posted in Apple News, Industry News

According to the Spring Feed, Sprint has sent a memo to all the employees to tell them how to deal with the question about the iPhone 5. Obviously they had been asked a lot about if they will carry the iPhone, or when the iPhone 5 will be released.

We have reported that Sprint will introduce the iPhone 5 together with AT&T, Verizon and even T-Mobile. This news comes from The Wall Street Journal. But so far, neither Sprint nor Apple have confirmed or denied this.

Most rumors predict that the iPhone 5 will have a 4 inches screen or even larger. Today, a new rumor from some big panel supplier shows that the upcoming device’s screen will measure less than 4 inches and will be somewhere in the 3.5-3.7 inch range. It also looks like the back side design will be changed. The current reinforced glass chassis will be changed to a metal one.

Hopefully, the latest rumored release date, October 7th, will prove to be true.
