Although we still have no idea when the iOS 4.3 will be available for consumers, the impatient developers have already approved an app named StreamToMe for iOS 4.3. This is the first iOS 4.3 app, which utilize the new iOS 4.3 feature: allow third-party apps to stream video directly to second general Apple TV’s via AirPlay.

The app lets you stream movies, music, and photos from home computers to iOS devices without the need to sync.

The first beta of iOS 3.2 added a number of features to the iOS platform, including the Wi-Fi hotspot feature, wider support for third-party video streaming via AirPlay, other small tweaks, and five-finger multitouch gestures.

The newly released iOS 4.3 Beta 2 adds some exciting new features: FaceTime, Camera, and PhotoBooth.

It is very likely that the iOS 4.3 will be released with the arrival of iPad 2. The iOS 4.2.5 will launch alongside the Verizon iPhone on February 3, so it is very likely that we will see the iPad 2 launch with iOS 4.3 for all iOS devices.

The iOS 4.3 Will Bring Personal Hot Spot to All iPhone

January 13th, 2011    Posted in Apple News, Industry News

Yesterday, Apple and Verizon announced the CMDA iPhone 4, which is nearly the same as the current GSM iPhone 4 apart from the resign of antenna. However, the iOS 4.2.5 carried by CDMA iPhone 4 bring a totally new feature- personal hot spot. This service can make the iPhone 4 act as a Wi-Fi access point for up-to 5 devices. Then these devices can connect to Verizon’s network. This personal hot spot is not available for GSM iPhone. So these AT&T iPhone users began to wonder when they could enjoy this service.

Today, Apple released the iOS 4.3 beta to the registered developers. And now we know the personal hot spot will be available to all iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 with iOS 4.3. However, the iOS 4.3 would not support the iPhone 3G, which means iPhone 3G users cannot use this function.

The iOS 4.3 is supposed to be released on March this year. As we all know, the iPad also runs the iOS. Another interesting question is whether this personal hot spot feature will come to iPad with iOS 4.3.
