Apple has released iOS 7.1, fixing bugs and introducing interesting new features.
CarPlay is Apple’s new vehicular infotainment system for new cars in 2014. It will be shipped in cars from Volvo, Ferrari, Honda, Hyundai and Mercedes this year with partners like BMW, Chevrolet and Ford down the road. CarPlay will provide an easy way to use iOS device while driving, with support for Siri, touchscreens, physical controls, and built-in apps like Phone, Messages and Maps, along with first- and third-party audio apps.
You can now manually control when Siri listens by holding down the Home button and releasing it when you’re done.
iTunes Radio has been tweaked in iOS 7.1, allowing you to subscribe to iTunes Match via iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and search within featured stations. And it will now let you buy albums based on the song that’s currently playing with just one button press.
