Sony Introduces the Next PSP – NGP

Sony reveals the next PSP – Next Generation Portable (NGP) on the press conference in Tokyo. This NGP will be available by the end of 2011.
The NGP sports a new OLED screen, clocking in at 5-inches and running at 960 by 544 pixels. The screen is also multi-touch capable, allowing you to articulate multiple finger input by touching, grabbing, pushing, or pulling the screen.
There are also two analogue controllers as well as motion sensors, a gyroscope and an accelerometer for tilt sensitivity. Front and back cameras, together with Wi-Fi and 3G internet access, complete the features line-up.
Because more and more gamers now play on phones rather than specialist handheld gaming devices, Sony also reveals a new “PlayStation Suite” initiative which will bring PlayStation games to Google Android devices at the press event in Tokyo.
The NGP will compete directly against Nintendo’s 3DS console, which features a less powerful processor but offers glasses-free 3D viewing. The 3DS will be out in the UK in March, while the NGP is likely to arrive in late autumn.
Just as usual, Aiseesoft will definitely prepare the best assistant software to the NGP, such as NGP Video Converter or DVD to NGP Converter. They can help users conveniently convert any popular video files to NGP compatible video and audio formats.
