The CW Has Closed a Deal with Apple

It’s reported that the CW has closed a deal which will introduce the network’s content to the Apple TV.  The CW president announced that  the CW’s TV Now applications would be brought to Apple TV.  The CW’s TV Now applications are now available on Xbox 360 and Windows 8.

“This year we’re reaching more viewers on more platforms,” said the president Mark.  “We are reaching our audience everywhere they are, and we want you to be with us everywhere we go,” he continued to say to advertisers at the event.

The CW revealed that the app will have similar function with the one on Xbox and mobile. And the app icon will be located on the home screen of the Apple TV.

Generally apps and digital content are offered from Netflix and Hulu by Apple TV, while it does not include apps from television networks. The relationship between the CW and Apple will mark the first network television app available via the Apple TV.

Although the exact date wasn’t given, the app will be launched soon according to the CW.
